Baby Ballerina

Miss Suzana started her Baby Ballet classes today!! It was so precious to see her in her leotard, tutu and ballet shoes. She actually thought we were going swimming because she thought her leotard was a bathing suit! I think she enjoyed the class, but it was a little different than Gymboree classes. It is more "follow directions, " which is kind of hard on two years olds for 45 minutes. I think it will be good for her though to have to listen and follow directions from someone other than me. We are definitely going to stick with it for the six weeks we payed for and see how it goes. She was adorable to watch and loved the props and music. We have a little dancer on our hands!! Welcome Baby Kirk Walker!!

Baby Kirk Daniel Walker has arrived!! My wonderful friend Kelly Kirk Walker delivered a sweet baby boy on August 13. Suzana and I are so excited he is here. She loves him and can't stop hugging him!! He is such a special baby and I can't wait to spoil him like Kelly has spoiled Suzana!

It has started....birthday parties galore!! This past weekend we went to Suzana's friend Kate's party at Gymboree (where I left my camera, which is why these are a few days late, thank goodness Kate's mom found it, haha!!!) It was a princess theme and Miss Suzana LOVED dressing up in the hats and tutus. It is so hard to believe that she will be 2 in just a few weeks too. She is growing up fast, but what fun she is at this age!! Well, she's a challenge too, but I like a challenge! Her hillarious personality makes me crack up everyday. Can't wait to see her in her ballerina tutu at her party!!

Bows and Boots!

This week has been a little crazy here at the Gibson household. Josh is working midnights, so Suzana and I have been trying to find something to do away from the house while he sleeps. Of course it has been rainy so we've had to be creative!! We went to the mall (big surprise??) one day and Suzana looked so cute in her rainboots and pigtails. She loves saying cheese for pictures, but now she doesn't smile, so I have to say smile!! This girl wouldn't keep a bow in her hair for months!! Now look at her! Today we went to a consignment sale and found a great deal on bows, she brought me FOUR to put in her hair and still has them there right now!! She's so silly! Have a great weekend!

Nothing better than best friends!

After a week of cleaning and getting back into the swing of things since returning from our beach trip, it was awesome to have our absolutely wonderful friends Allison, Adam and Eliza visit this past weekend. The girls genuinely love eachother so much! Suzana has been looking for Eliza since she left! Choo Choo!!
