So, if you know me well at all, you know I lose something pretty much on a daily basis. That said, right now my camera battery charger is MIA! So, until I can locate it, hopefully soon, this blog will be without pics!

Some of Suzana's recent funnies...

• She had to sneeze and it got stuck in her nose, she didn't actually get it out but did, oh so dramatically say, "CHOO!"
• When we go outside to play, she doesn't want to do anything but put the keys into the lock and open the door. I at least bought a chair to sit in for the long hours we spend at the front door!
• So this isn't so much funny, but she is starting to recognize her letters and can point to the letters S, B, A, M and O when I ask her to. She recognizes S and will say it everytime she sees one. She is also amazing at her story books and when I leave a word out, she will fill in the blank. She can even do it when the book isn't in front of her :-)
• Her favorite things to do right now are look for bugs, play in the dirt and water, and climb, climb, climb!!!

Suzana had her first outdoor "photo shoot" by an attending doctor Josh works with who plans on retiring soon and wants to start his photography career. We had such a great time at his beautiful home with its breathtaking backyard. Suzana was hamming it up for the camera, as usual! She did get mad at one point because I took her blue bow out and put a pink one in. She is absolutely obsessed with blue, but I pulled a fast one on her and put the pink one back in! She also got her first "strawberry" on her elbow when she ran down the sidewalk and wiped out. Needless to say, the picture taking was finished after that!

What a wonderful Mother's Day Josh and Suzana gave me this year! First of all, I got to sleep in which may be the best present of all. They woke me up with a hot cup of Joe and The Office Trivia game! We spent the rest of the day buying and planting flowers. Josh dug up some grass in our backyard and made a flowerbed with a sweet Mother's Day fountain. Suzana was such a great help digging up the dirt and filling up, well playing in, the fountain. What a perfect day and a wonderful family! I hope that all the women reading this had a beautiful day too!

Wednesday is Suzana's favorite day of the week because we go to GYMBOREE!! She absolutley loves it! As soon as we pull into the parking lot she starts shaking all over and screaming "babies"! She adores her teacher, Ms. Robin, and follows her around to see what new and exciting activity is coming up next. Today, Ms. Robin told me that Suzana has advanced motor planning and motor memory skills...yay!! She also gets a kick out of the Gymbo the Clown stamps she gets on her hands and belly when we finish. I love Gymboree a little extra on these very rainy days!
